Ready ? Let's go !

The 7 essential steps to grow your business

1. Know what your ideal client is

This is not the first time I've talked to you about it, but I can not stress enough the importance of knowing your ideal client. If you want to grow your business, this ideal customer can not be any type of customer.

Defining your ideal client is probably the most important phase. In this first step, you must position yourself. Because talking to everyone means talking to no one. The more you have a specific target, the more your prospects will come to you because they will recognize themselves in what you have to offer.

Ask who you are talking to so far and if this is the type of client that is most profitable to you. Remember that you will spend the same amount of time, effort and money promoting one type of customer as another. So it's better to invest that money, energy and time with someone who is really interested in your products / services and who can really afford them!

 2. Your key selling point (USP)

Once you have defined your ideal customer, define what sets you apart.

If when asked how you are different from the competition, you do not know what to answer, it is normal that your prospects do not see in you THE solution to their problem!

Ask yourself, why are you THE solution? Your methodology? your results? your style ? etc. Find something that sets you apart and make sure it's relevant to your ideal client. For this must obviously be something important to him.

 3. Focus on your customers
Your customers are ALL for your business. In the same way that his fans are all for a singer! :) Without them, your activity would no longer be an activity. So you should not only focus on getting new clients, but also and most importantly treat those you already have.

Exceed their expectations! Amaze them so that they are 100% satisfied with your services and become true ambassadors of your activity. They will then recommend you naturally to their entourage. And nothing works better than word of mouth.

 4. Focus on 2 or 3 priorities
Organize yourself! If you have 10 lines of action in parallel, you will only dilute the effectiveness of your actions without getting all the profitability you could get. Choose 2 or 3 lines of priority actions and give everything you have! Your organization is fundamental to keep your motivation intact and therefore in the success of your business.

 5. Multiply your sources of income

There are many ways to grow your business. One is to increase your number of customers. The second is to increase the number of sales per customer. But you know that it is much easier to sell to someone who is already a customer than to try to sell to someone who is not yet.

So think about what new offers you can create for your existing customers. What types of service / product could you add to your offer in addition to the existing one? And so grow your business.

 6. Your collaborations / partnerships

What collaborations could you put in place to grow your business? Collaborating with complementary activities to yours is probably one of the best and most profitable strategies. So think with which allies you could collaborate, who might be interested in promoting your services / products.
Ask what other type of services / products does your typical customer purchase? With which new alliances could you reach new targets? How could you collaborate so that it is beneficial for the 3 parties (you, your collaborator and your client)?

It can make the difference between your business today and tomorrow.

7. Your indicators of success

Finally, ask yourself what indicators you will follow to find out whether your business is growing or not. These success indicators will help you to know if the action plans you have chosen so far are correct or if you need to readjust them.

Number of sales, number of subscribers to your mailing list, number of subscribers on your social networks, number of visits to your site ... Set your performance indicators and follow them regularly.
